Fortnightly web round up #4

Here we go again, another share-fest of the best stuff I’ve been reading recently that may interest readers of Experiment in Living. I’ve been rushed off my feet with the 30 Day Challenge, which is why recent postings have been a bit sparse.
As part of the challenge, I have launched a niche website called Feng Shui Crystals, does what it says on the tin. it’s very much a work in progress! Anyway, enough of me plugging my stuff, on with the reviews…
Introverts and extraverts: Why can’t we just get along? was an interesting piece over at Pick the Brain. Yes, I have spelt “extravert” right in a Myers-Briggs type context, even though my spell check doesn’t seem to think so. As an introvert, who has learnt to become more extraverted over the years (but would still rather read a book than go to a party in my heart of hearts), this article resonated with me. I am an INFJ for the record, and there’s not many of us around!
I enjoyed reading Cultivating inner wisdom over at Empowered Soul. There is so much fabulous information on the web about any subject under the sun, but there is always a danger (for people who love planning and research but shy away from action) that you can get so caught up and overwhelmed that you end up doing nothing. Trust me, I know all about this ![]()
I really related to what Eveyln over at Attraction Mind Map, says in her article How to calm down from unresolved anger quickly:
With introspection, one important lesson that I have come to know is that it is very possible to detach myself from anger. Before, I would be so identified with anger that I totally immerse myself in it. The more I connected with my inner feelings of hurt and frustration associated with the anger, the higher the intensity of my emotions.
Ever wondered who is Sadish who designed the Misty Look theme used on this blog and many others? I found his website, Wordpress Rocks while looking for themes for my niche website. Come to think of it, Experiments in Living could use a new look. Watch this space…
Inspired use of recycled chopsticks - Chopstick Art. Apparently single use wooden chopsticks are collected from restaurants, cleaned and sterilised and then made into lampshades, folding baskets, jewellery… the list goes on!
One for your diary - 7th October is International Happiness Day. More blogging inspiration on their website.
I also discovered Hay House Radio, “Radio for your soul”, which has a good range of personal coaching and spiritual development resources. To be fair, I’m not that fussed on “listener phone-ins”, but there are some gems, especially Doreen Virtue.
If I didn’t already spend far too much time online, then I’d join the Gaia Community, and with that, I’ll leave you!

great links! Look at Sadish! I see his name every day & never thought to google him
Good luck with your 30 day challenge!
I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed to my Google News Reader. Looking forward to reading more from you down the road!
Thank you so much for the mention! I really appreciate it!
Blessings,
Andrea
